Abstract
Abstract The adjusting device for a throttle valve is described in which the maximum opening angle of the throttle valve is mechanically predetermined, whilst smaller angles are electronically controlled. Should the electronics fail the throttle valve engages in the mechanical setting and can thereby continue to be operated mechanically. <IMAGE>
