Abstract The invention relates to a process for obtaining multilayer materials capable of being converted by means of deep-drawing or stretch-drawing tooling into hollow bodies having a height/diameter ratio greater than 2.5; the said materials comprising a substrate (4) made from aluminium alloy which has been subjected to a surface treatment and covered over one of its faces with a film (7) made from plastic and on its other face with a layer of varnish (5). This process is characterised in that the said layer of varnish contains a solid lubricant in the form of particles (6) harder than the varnish but softer than the tooling. This process finds application in the manufacture of materials intended for making hollow articles or receptacles whose height/diameter ratio is greater than 2.5. <IMAGE>
