Abstract
Abstract Thermoplastic resin compositions are blended with a novel silicone-based flame retardant which also imparts good impact resistance and low temperature ductility on the thermoplastic resins. Polyorganosiloxanes are grafted with vinyl-based polymers, such as bromostyrenes, capable of exhibiting flame retarding properties and then blended with normally flammable thermoplastic resins.
