Abstract Translated from German Halbleiterlaseranordnung mit einem Laserbereich (A), in dem zur Wellenführung ein Wellenleiter (4) vorgesehen ist, der so bemessen ist, daß die Laserstrahlung senkrecht zu ihrer Ausbreitungsrichtung im Grundmodus schwingt, mit einem Koppelbereich (B) und mit einem Verstärkungsbereich (C), in dem die laterale Wellenführung aufgehoben ist und der mit einem Kontakt zur Strominjektion versehen ist.
