Am Einlauf in die Doppelbandpresse werden die Materialbahnen zu einem Schichtgebilde zusammengeführt und in der Doppelbandpresse unter Einwirkung von Flächendruck, Wärme und/oder Kühlung zwischen den beiden Endlosbändern zur Laminatbahn verpreßt. Die Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens besteht aus einer Doppelbandpresse, bei der zwischen der Aus- und Einlaufzone wenigstens eine Harzauftragseinrichtung (11) für die Beharzung wenigstens einer Materialbahn angeordnet ist. Bei der Harzauftragseinrichtung sind Mittel zur Führung der Materialbahn vorhanden, so daß die Materialbahn auf ein Trum des Endlosbandes aufgelegt wird, das von der Auslaufzone zur Einlaufzone in die Doppelbandpresse zurückläuft.
