Abstract Translated from German Wird ein Endgerät (T1) durch den Teilnehmer, der vorher eine ex­terne Leitung (L) in den Haltezustand übergeführt hat, in den Ruhezustand gebracht (Auflegen), so wird von der Rechnersteue­rung eine auf die dann bestehende Belegbarkeit durch andere Teil­nehmer hinweisende optische Anzeige an den berechtigten Endein­richtungen bewirkt. Sofern eine solche Belegung innerhalb einer vorgebbaren Zeitspanne nicht erfolgt, wird der das ursprüngli­che Gespräch führende Teilnehmer, falls er sich im Freizustand befindet, automatisch durch die Rechnersteuerung angewählt und mit dem Melden die Verbindung zu der externen Leitung (L) wie­derhergestellt. Im Falle des Belegtzustandes wird periodisch überprüft, ob der betreffende Teilnehmer frei geworden ist. Während dieser Überprüfungszeit ist die Belegung durch die anderen Teilnehmer beispielsweise durch Betätigung der einen bestimmten Neuzustand einnehmenden Leitungstaste möglich.
