Abstract

Abstract Translated from German Beschrieben wird ein Thermofarbband, insbesondere Thermocarbon­band, mit einem üblichen Träger und einer auf einer Seite des Trägers ausgebildeten Schicht einer wachsgebundenen Aufschmelz­farbe. Dieses Thermofarbband zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die Aufschmelzfarbe mindestens ein Paraffin mit einer Erstarrungs­temperatur von etwa 50 bis 100 °C und mindestens ein Ethylen-­Vinylacetat-Wachs, das mit dem Paraffin zur Bildung eines Eutektikums fähig ist, enthält. Es führt beim Thermodruckvorgang zu besonders intensiven Ausdrucken. A thermal ink ribbon, in particular thermocarbon ribbon, is described with a customary carrier and a layer of a wax-bound melting ink formed on one side of the carrier.
