Abstract Production process for an electronic memory card and more particularly for an electronic module. <??>A start is made from a metal strip (10) in which a plurality of conductive frames (A) are defined. An insulating strip (50) which leaves the external regions (20a to 34a) of the electronic module clear, is fixed to the external face (10a) of the strip (10). In the following steps, the semiconducting chip is fixed to the internal face of the conductive frame, and the conductive frame (A) is separated, by cutting, from the rest of the strip (10). <IMAGE>
