Abstract

Abstract A device to keep cables tensed even in spite of wear on the intermediate items, by means of three small parts, made of plastic or some similar material, and a spring. This arrangement is established by a hollow cylindrical casing (1) with a series of grooves on its outside, in that a casing is fitted onto these grooves (2) by way of a nut or a dentated clip (3), also with grooves, which butts up against a support (5). Another support (6) placed over the hollow cylindrical casing receives a spring between itself and the nut.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 95 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", which is essentially characterized by the fact that the cable is kept under tension between a maximum and a minimum, without any loosening of the cable, in that means are arranged to receive the cable, means to receive the cable conduit or conductor, over the above, means to clip the said cable conduit or conductor together with a first support, means to provide tension, means to receive a helicoidal spring under tension and means to fasten the unidirectional nut on the cable receiving means.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 95 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", which is essentially characterized by the fact that the cable is kept under tension between a maximum and a minimum, without any loosening of the cable, in that means are arranged to receive the cable, means to receive the cable conduit or conductor, over the above, means to clip the said cable conduit or conductor together with a first support, means to provide tension, means to receive a helicoidal spring under tension and means to fasten the unidirectional nut on the cable receiving means.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 91 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claim 1, characterized because the means for receiving the cable consists of a hollow cylindrical casing (1), made by thermo-plastic resin injection, in that on its exterior it is provided with two straight, free ends and a central section with circumferential grooving (2) of a specific profile and pitch, in that one of the said straight ends connects to the second support and in that the cable conduit or conductor is received by the other straight end.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 69 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claims 1 and 2, characterized because the means for clipping the cable conductor consists of a first support (6) which clamps and fastens onto the end of the hollow cylindrical casing and is provide with a series of tongues (8) by which it fixes to this casing by means of a duct in the latter.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 75 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized because the means to provide tension consists of a spring (9) placed longtudinally on the outside over the hollow cylindrical casing and the means to receive this spring consist of a recess in the first support (6) and another recess in a nut (3) like a dentated clip arranged over the said hollow cylindrical casing.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 104 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claims 1 and 4, characterized because the means for fastening the unidirectional nut (3) over the hollow cylindrical casing consists of a set of dentated grooves on the inside of the said nut or clip, of the same characteristics as those of the hollow cylindrical casing, though reversed, in combination with a conical section of the end of the said grooves on the side of the second support (5), which in its turn is provided with an internal conical projection which makes contact with the conical section of the nut.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 51 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claim 3, characterized because the first support can be arranged over the hollow cylindrical casing in the position desired by clipping its tongues at the appropriate point depending on the tension that is determined for the spring.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 33 words
- "AUTOMATIC TENSION REGULATOR FOR TRACTION CABLES GUIDED BY FLEXIBLE CONDUITS", in accordance with claim 6, characterized because the spring is calculated to provide the tension desired between a maximum and a minimum.
