Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim
170 words
A switching power supply comprising a transformer (3) having a primary winding (3a) and first secondary winding (3c), first switching means (4) adapted to turn on and off for connecting and disconnecting an input voltage (1) to said primary winding (3a), a diode (5) connected in parallel with said first switching means (4), first rectifying and smoothing means (7, 9) connected across said first secondary winding (3c), and second switching means (8), opperating to turn on and off alternatively with said first switching means (4), for connecting and disconnecting an output voltage of said first rectifying and smoothing means (7, 9) to said first secondary winding (3c), characterised by: control circuit means (10, 43, 63) for controlling said second switching means (8) so that an on period of said second switching means (8) is controlled in accordance with an output voltage of said first rectifying and smoothing means (7, 9), in order to feed back the output voltage supplied to said first secondary winding (3c) to said primary winding (3a).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
35 words
A switching power supply according to claim 1, characterised in that it includes oscillation circuit means (6, 39, 42) for determining an on period during which period said first switching means (4) is turned on.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
55 words
A switching power supply according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that said primary winding (3a) is connected with the diode (5) for allowing the energy released back to said primary winding (3a) to flow therein, and capacitors (41, 52) are connected in parallel with said first and second switching means (4, 8) repsectively.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
60 words
A switching power supply according to claim 1, characterised in that said second switching means (8) is connected in series to a separate secondary winding (3e) wound around said transformer (3), and an output of said first rectifying and smoothing means (7, 9) which is connected to said first secondary winding (3c) is applied to said separate secondary winding (3e).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
74 words
A switching power supply according to claim 1, characterised in that it includes a secondary winding (3f) wound around said transformer (3); second rectifying smoothing means (60, 61) connected across said second secondary winding (3f); and control means (13) for controlling said first switching means (4) so that an on period of said first switching means (4) is controlled in accordance with an output voltage of said second rectifying and smoothin means (60, 61).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
29 words
A switching power supply according to claim 5, characterised in that a capacitr (41, 52) is connected in parallel with said first and second switching means (4, 8) respectively.
