Abstract
Abstract The deck comprising at least two laterally spaced metal beams and a common concrete slab is characterised in that it is constituted by prestressed metal beams (12) and a slab of concrete (16) integral with the lower flanges of the metal beams (12). The invention is particularly advantageous for constructing U-shaped prefabricated decks intended to be used, among other things, as rail bridge decks, road bridge decks, aquaducts, gangways and any other load bearing construction. <IMAGE>
