Device for feeding measured quantities of volatile fuel components to the intake conduit of an internal-combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract A device for the temporary storage and measured feeding of volatile fuel components located in the free chamber (22) of a tank unit (15) into the intake conduit (1) of an internal combustion engine (2). The device comprises a deaeration line (25) connecting the free chamber (22) to the atmosphere (23), in which line a reservoir chamber (18) with an absorption element is arranged, as well as a line (20) connecting the reservoir chamber (18) to the intake conduit, which line can be closed by means of a solenoid shut-off valve (13). An auxiliary valve (15) with a control chamber (14) which can be closed by a vacuum advance control is arranged between the shut-off valve (13) and the intake conduit (1).
