Electronic-component support, especially for a memory card, and product so obtained
Abstract
The invention relates in particular to memory cards comprising an electronic component housed in a cavity. The invention resides in the fact that the electronic support comprises a silicon substrate (23), of small thickness - between fifty and one hundred microns - and a thicker base (24) - between two hundred and three hundred microns -, which is deposited on the substrate and consists of a material harder than silicon, such as cobalt, vanadium, titanium, ceramic. The invention is particularly applicable to electronic components for identification and payment cards.
