Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a panel-shaped building element for building purposes, having two lateral mutually parallel cover layers (1, 2) and edge profiles (4), arranged at the longitudinal edges and of U-shaped cross-section, the legs (5) of which are directed towards one another and which carry the edges of the cover layers (1, 2), the space between the cover layers (1, 2), and the interior of the edge profiles (4) being filled with rigid foam (3) and the legs (5) forming grooves (6a, 6b) open towards the outside and parallel to the outer edges of the element. The regions (7a, 7b), adjacent to the respective groove (6a, 6b), of the legs (5) are aligned with one another. <IMAGE>
