Abstract Translated from German Der Entschäumer besteht aus einem auf ein körniges Trägermaterial aufgebrachten Gemisch aus (a) 5 bis 60 % eines Paraffinwachses und (b) 70 bis 90 % eines mikrokristallinen Paraffins, das ein definiertes Schmelzverhalten in Abhängigkeit von Temperatur aufweist, sowie (c) 5 % bis 20 % eines von C2-7-Diaminen und C12-22-Fettsäuren abgeleiteten Diamids, das in dem Paraffingemisch in feinstverteilter Form vorliegt. Die Herstellung der Gemische erfolgt bevorzugt durch Umsetzen der Diamine mit den Fettsäuren im geschmolzenen Gemisch der Komponenten (a) und (b) in Gegenwart saurer Katalysatoren. The defoamer consists of a mixture of (a) 5 to 60% of a paraffin wax and (b) 70 to 90% of a microcrystalline paraffin, which has a defined melting behavior as a function of temperature, and (c) 5% to 20% of a diamond derived from C2-7 diamines and C12-22 fatty acids, which is present in the paraffin mixture in a very finely divided form. The mixtures are preferably prepared by reacting the diamines with the fatty acids in the molten mixture of components (a) and (b) in the presence of acidic catalysts.
