Abstract
Abstract 2.1 There are receiving sets such as video recorders in which special measures are taken on reception of a MAC signal, such as, for example, a partial signal delay of the signals during recording. 2.2 An identification signal (K) characterising the system is transmitted for automatically switching to MAC operation. 2.3 Particularly for an S-VHS video recorder with special partial delay of the recorded signals during the recording for reducing the cross-colour effect. <IMAGE>
