Abstract
Abstract Device for orienting an object (A) about two axes (R1 and R2). <??>A motor (M1) controls the rotation about a shaft (R1) by means of three pinions (51, 70, 71); another motor (M2) controls the rotation of a yoke (C) about another axis (R2) by means of two other pinions (26, 27). It simultaneously causes the whole of the first motor (M1) to rotate. The pinions are designed so that the shaft (72), supporting the object (A), moves about (R2), but does then not rotate about (R1). <??>Applications to robot wrists. <IMAGE>
