Power regulation for a combined plant
Abstract
Abstract In a combined plant, the regulation is carried out with a partial load, by means of pre-heating the induction air (18) to the compressor (2) of the gas turbo-group (1). For this purpose, steam (25) is removed from the steam turbine (6) and is passed through a heat exchanger (8) where it is used to prepare the induction air (18) by means of a heat exchanging process. In this arrangement, this steam (25) is removed at a point (19) in the steam turbine (6) where the steam has its lowest possible exersonic potential. In the optimisation process, which is regulated by a pre-programmed regulator (13), power regulation constructed in a combined manner on the cascade principle is used for lower partial loads, which power regulation initially partially regulates the partial load downwards, by adjusting the compressor blades (2) and subsequently reduces it further by pre- heating the induction air (18) to the compressor (2), the hot-gas temperature at the turbine inlet being maintained at its permissible level. <IMAGE>
