Abstract Translated from German Es wird ein strahlungsempfindliches Gemisch beschrieben, das als wesentliche Bestandteile eine Verbindung, die unter Einwirkung von aktinischer Strahlung eine starke Säure liefert, ein wasserunlösliches, in organischen Lösemitteln und wäßrig-alkalischen Lösungen lösliches Bindemittel und eine Verbindung einer der Formeln I und II <IMAGE> enthält, worin R eine substituierte oder unsubstituierte Alkylgruppe, X ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom, eine Hydroxy-, Alkyl-, Alkoxy-, Alkoxycarbonyl-, Aryloxy- oder Arylgruppe und n Null oder eine Zahl von 1 bis 3 bedeutet. Das Gemisch ist zur Herstellung von Druckplatten und Photoresists geeignet und zeichnet sich durch höhere Flexibilität bei guter Entwicklerresistenz aus. A radiation-sensitive mixture is described which contains as essential components a compound which, under the action of actinic radiation, gives a strong acid, a water-insoluble binder which is soluble in organic solvents and aqueous-alkaline solutions, and a compound of one of the formulas I and II <IMAGE> contains, wherein R represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom, a hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxy or aryl group and n represents zero or a number from 1 to 3. The mixture is suitable for the production of printing plates and photoresists and is characterized by greater flexibility with good developer resistance.
