Abstract
Abstract The apparatus has a cold shield, which largely shields the detector element from infrared radiation, and has - a first optical device for intermediate imaging of the infrared image in the plane defined by the beam entry opening, the beam entry opening being constructed with a narrow cross-section in the cold shield, and - a second optical device for imaging the intermediate image on the detector element. <IMAGE>
