Process for microinjection into cells, possibly for suction out of isolated cells or entire cells out of cell cultures
Abstract
In this computer-aided system, the television image of the cell culture is superimposed with a mark that can be moved in the image on the monitor (10) and that is positioned by the operator on the cells to be injected in the television image by relative movement of the mark / image. The coordinates of the cells marked in this way are stored by the computer (11), which then automatically moves the capillary tip to the selected cells and punctures them. In an advantageous embodiment, the computer carries out the insertion movement parallel to the longitudinal axis of the capillary by a superimposed movement (x) of the stage and the drive for the height adjustment (z) of the capillary (4) on the micromanipulator (3).
