Abstract
Abstract The control system consists of a programmable microcomputer which is fed with programs and data by magnetic cards or other mass storage systems and thus allows precisely predetermined loading intervals. When used in rehabilitation therapy, the home trainer with the control system mentioned can become a treatment instrument, with which there is no need for permanent supervision by the doctor. This is enabled by the input of the programs and data by means of magnetic cards or the like which do not permit subsequent intervention by the patient.
