Alpha-aminoacetophenones as photo initiators

Abstract

Abstract Translated from German Verbindungen der Formel I, II, III und IIIa worin Ar 1 einen unsubstltuierten oder substituierten aromatischen Rest bedeutet und mindestens einer der Reste R 1 und R 2 eine Alkenyl-, Cycloalkenyl- oder Arylmethylgruppe bedeutet, sind wirkungsvolle Photoinitiatoren für die Photopolymerlsation ungesättigter Verbindungen. Sie eignen sich Insbesondere zur Photohärtung pigmentierter Systeme. Compounds of formula I, II, III and IIIa where Ar 1 is an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic radical and at least one of the radicals R 1 and R 2 is an alkenyl, cycloalkenyl or arylmethyl group, are effective photoinitiators for the photopolymer solution of unsaturated compounds. They are particularly suitable for photocuring pigmented systems.
