Erfindungsgemäß ist das Endstück (8) als aktive Koagulationselektrode eines HF-Chirurgiegeräts (10) ausgebildet. Dabei kann es sich sowohl um eine monopolare als auch um eine bipolare Koagulationselektrode handeln. Der Vorteil für den Operateur besteht darin, daß er mit ein und demselben Handstück (8) bei der Operation sowohl schneiden als auch koagulieren kann. The handpiece (8) comprises a nozzle (24) from which a liquid jet (42) emerges under high pressure via an end piece (8).
