Abstract

Abstract Injection moulding machine is provided with a member that can move linearly relative to the machine body and an electric motor which has a stationary portion supported by the machine body and a member that is linearly movable relative to the stationary portion. The machine's linearly movable member moves integrally with the electric motor's linearly movable member.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 86 words
An injection molding machine, comprising: a linear motion member arranged to be linearly movable relative to a main body of the injection molding machine; and a linear motion type electric motor having a stationary section supported by the main body of the injection molding machine and a movable section arranged to be linearly movable relative to the stationary section, said linear motion member being coupled to the movable section of said linear motion type electric motor in a manner movable in unison with the movable section.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 86 words
An injection molding machine, comprising: a linear motion member arranged to be linearly movable relative to a main body of the injection molding machine; and a linear motion type electric motor having a stationary section supported by the main body of the injection molding machine and a movable section arranged to be linearly movable relative to the stationary section, said linear motion member being coupled to the movable section of said linear motion type electric motor in a manner movable in unison with the movable section.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 61 words
An injection molding machine according to claim 1, wherein said linear motion type electric motor is of a synchronous type electric motor having a field system and an armature, and one of the movable and stationary sections of said linear motion type electric motor is formed by said field system, and the other of these sections is formed by said armature.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 65 words
An injection molding machine according to claim 1, wherein said linear motion type electric motor is of an induction type electric motor having a field system and an electrically conductive member, and one of the movable and stationary sections of said linear motion type electric motor is formed by said field system, and the other of these sections is formed by said electrically conductive member.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 119 words
An injection molding machine according to claim 1, wherein said linear motion type electric motor includes a non-magnetic shaft on which annular yokes and annular permanent magnets are alternately fitted in an axial direction of the shaft, and a tubular structure through which the shaft is loosely inserted, said tubular structure having an outer tube made of a soft magnetic material, annular cores and annular printed type coils, said cores and said coils being alternately disposed in the outer tube in an axial direction of the tubular structure, one of the movable and stationary sections of said linear motion type electric motor being formed by said shaft and the other of these sections being formed by said tubular structure.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 42 words
An injection molding machine according to claim 4 , wherein the injection molding machine includes an injection mechanism having a screw as said linear motion member, the screw being coupled to said non- magnetic shaft of said linear motion type electric motor.
