Abstract Translated from German Die Zange zum Auseinanderspreizen benachbarter Wirbelsäulenkörper ist so ausgebildet, daß mit den Maulschenkeln (3,4) zwei parallele Dorne (9,14) verbunden bzw. verbindbar sind, von denen der eine beim Spreizen der Maulschenkel durch eine Führung (10,11 bzw. 21,23) parallel zum anderen Dorn verschiebbar ist. The pliers for spreading adjacent spine bodies are designed so that two parallel spikes (9, 14) are connected or connectable to the jaw legs (3, 4), one of which can be used to spread the jaw legs by a guide (10, 11 or 21, 23) can be moved parallel to the other mandrel.
