Electric stimulator for medical and cosmetic applications

Abstract

Abstract A stimulation current generator (G) for generating stimulation current pulses is connected via controllable switches (S1, ..., S8) to a number of treatment outputs (A1, ..., A8). An electronic switching control (St) switches the switches (S1, ..., S8) selectively on and off. The switching control (St) comprises a clock signal generator (Ts) and a program part (P), which is designed as a diode matrix switch and can be easily replaced. In this way, it is possible to supply the treatment outputs (A1, ..., A8) with stimulation current pulses from the stimulation current generator (G) in accordance with any desired predeterminable treatment program. This opens up new treatment methods, particularly in electromassage and electro- acupressure. <IMAGE>
