Abstract
Abstract An adaptor 10 has a shape and a size substantially equal to a shape and a size of a cartridge 30. Accordingly, the adaptor 10 enables a cartridge 20 received by a receiving space 13e to be used as the cartridge 30. In addition, when the cartridge 20 is received, guide support portions 13b and 13c guide the cartridge 20 so that the cartridge 20 can be loaded smoothly. After the loading of the cartridge 20, the guide support portions 13b and 13c support the cartridge 20 stably.

An adaptor of a cartridge for gaming machine, to be used for adapting a cartridge (20) of a first gaming machine containing memories (23 and 24) to a second gaming machine (40), comprising: a case (13) formed by an upper half (11) and a lower half (12), said case being formed to have a shape in which at least an inserted portion into said second gaming machine is fitted for said second gaming machine, and said case having at positions opposite to said inserted portion, guide support portions (13b and 13c) for guiding loading of said cartridge of the first gaming machine and supporting said cartridge after the loading; a connection board (14) contained in said case and having an edge on which a first group (14b) of connection terminals fitted to said first gaming machine are arrayed, and another edge on which a second group (14a) of connection terminals fitted to said second gaming machine are arrayed; and a connector (15) for electrically connecting said first group of connection terminals of said connection board to said cartridge of the first gaming machine loaded in said case, at least a portion of said connector being housed in said case.
