Abstract

Device for material exchange by means of hollow threads, the end regions of which are cast in a casting compound block, which is connected in a fluid-tight manner to a housing shell, in which the housing shell has at least one opening, in the region of its longitudinal axis a distributor body for supplying or removing the fluid flowing around the hollow threads is arranged, Hollow threads are microporous and are evenly distributed over the entire cross-section of the potting compound blocks and between the outer hollow threads and the housing jacket there is an annular free space into which the at least one opening is mined. The housing jacket and the distributor body as well as the possibly arranged end caps are preferably designed in such a way that they can be produced by injection molding. The device is particularly suitable as a blood oxygenator, whereby it can be assembled into a unit via an intermediate ring with a heat exchanger for tempering the blood. The device is also very general for the degassing and / or degassing of liquids, for transmembrane distillation, as a filter Oil separator, suitable as a blood plasma separator or as a hamoconcentrator.
