Disclosed are new benzoxazines of formula (I) <IMAGE> in which X is hydrogen or halogen, R1 is hydrogen or C1-C2 alkyl, R2 is cyano, trimethylsilyl, trimethylsilyl methoxycarbonyl, C1-C4 alkylthio or cyclopropyl and Q is one of the following groups <IMAGE> is the use of the new compounds as herbicides and intermediates for the preparation of the new benzoxazines of the formula (I).
