Abstract

Abstract The image forming device has a glass sheet (5) on which an original is placed to be illuminated by a flash lamp (22) and an optical system to transmit the illuminated image to expose photosensitive material in a holder (3). A sensor (46), installed adjacent to the light path, senses the quantity of light produced by each flash of the lamp (22) and when one flash produces insufficient light, associated apparatus causes the lamp to repeat flashing until proper exposure is assured.
