Abstract

Abstract Storage stable active comestible ingredients encapsulated with water insoluble polymer material and having accelerated active ingredient release properties are prepared by admixing the active ingredient and/or the polymer material with deoiled lecithin and then encapsulating the active ingredient. The encapsulated compositions are used to provide accelerated up-front release of the active ingredients in orally ingested solid products such as foods, confections, chewing gum and dentifrices.
