Abstract Translated from French Le procédé comprend une étape de décomposition de l'image en blocs, chaque bloc contenant un ensemble de données numériques organisées en matrice et représentant une partie de l'image, ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend, en outre pour chaque bloc, une étape de détection de mouvement du bloc par comparaison dudit bloc de l'image courante au bloc correspondant de l'image précédente ; émission d'un code de non-­rafraîchissement du bloc et d'un code d'identification du bloc dans l'image, si le bloc est fixe ; si un mouvement est détecté dans le bloc, décomposition du bloc en plusieurs sous-blocs, détection de mouvement dans chaque sous-bloc du bloc par comparaison au sous-bloc correspondant du bloc correspondant de l'image précédente, et émission d'un code fonction du mouvement du sous-bloc, si le bloc est en mouvement.
