Abstract Translated from German Beschrieben werden Lichtleiter mit einem flüssigen Kern, der aus einer Flüssigkeit hoher Strahlungstransmission besteht, und einem Mantel aus einem Copolymeren des Vinylidenfluorids, das aus mindestens 20 Gew.-% und höchstens 75 Gew.-% an copolymerisierten Einheiten des Vinylidenfluorids sowie aus copolymerisierten Einheiten mindestens eines weiteren fluorhaltigen Monomeren besteht. Als weitere Monomere kommen insbesondere Hexafluorpropylen oder Hexafluorpropylen und Tetrafluorethylen in Betracht. Der Lichtleiter kann gegebenenfalls mit Pigmenten oder anderen färbenden Zusätzen versehen werden. Der Mantel aus dem Copolymeren des Vinlyidenfluorids besitzt eine ausgezeichnete Haftung zu anderen Materialien und kann daher leicht mit anderen Materialien verbunden werden.
