Abstract Translated from German Ein Fadenzwirngerät zum Verzwirnen einer Vielzahl von Fäden weist eine Zwirnspindel (8) auf, die zugleich Bestandteil des Förderwerkes (32) ist. Dem Förderwerk (32) ist ein Faden­speicher (22) mit Mengenabtastung zugeordnet. Der Antriebs­motor (32) der Zwirnspindel (8) wird durch die Mengenab­tastung geschaltet. A thread twisting device for twisting a multiplicity of threads has a thread spindle (8) which is at the same time part of the conveyor mechanism (32). A thread store (22) with quantity scanning is assigned to the conveyor (32). The drive motor (32) of the twisting spindle (8) is switched by the quantity scanning.
