Abstract Translated from German Durch Expression eines für den humanen Granulozyten-Makro-­phagen-"Colony Stimulating"-Faktor (CSF) codierenden Gens in Bakterien erhält man CSF-Proteine, die biologisch aktiv sind. Durch Variieren der natürlichen oder einer synthe-­tischen Genstruktur erhält man biologisch aktive Derivative mit veränderter Aminosäurenfolge. By expression of a gene coding for the human granulocyte macro-phage "colony stimulating" factor (CSF) in bacteria, CSF proteins are obtained which are biologically active. By varying the natural or a synthetic gene structure, one obtains biologically active derivatives with a modified amino acid sequence.
