Method for continuously producing micromodules for cards comprising components, continuous strip of micromodules, and micromodule realized by such a method
Abstract
The invention finds application in particular in cards containing components of the CCC type for electronic payment or security cards. According to the invention a continuous conductive strip is formed, on which is drawn a series of conductive cells (29, 30) consisting on the one hand of contacts (C1-C8) and of a central area (S1) on which will be deposited a microcircuit. Then a protective resin capsule (31) will be placed on the face carrying the microcircuit. Cutouts of the continuous strip make it possible to take a finished micromodule. On the outer face of the strip is arranged a protective plastic film for the contacts which also prevents resin from passing over the face of the contacts intended to be in contact with a CCC card reader.
