Device for detection of foreign substances through a wall and aid-system for driving vehicles or aircrafts
Abstract
The invention relates to a device for detecting the presence of foreign substances in a medium (II) in the vicinity of a wall (P) separating two media (I) and (II). The device comprises in the medium (I) illumination means (1) of the wall under a radiation corresponding to the transparency or to the semi-transparency of the material of the wall on a reference illumination zone (Z). Directional detector means (2) make it possible to cover the reference illumination zone (Z), the mean direction of the reception cone (20) having an inclination (α) with respect to the mean direction of the beam (10) the volume (V1) intersection of the beam (10) and the reception cone (20) is minimum. Application to aid for driving vehicles or aircraft and for driving industrial chemistry processes.
