Abstract Translated from German Dialkylisosorbid wird in guter Reinheit und guter Ausbeute erhalten, wenn Isosorbid in alkalischer, wäßrig-organischer Lösung, bei der als Lösungsmittel ein tertiärer Alkohol verwendet wird, alkyliert wird. Dialkyl isosorbide is obtained in good purity and good yield when isosorbide is alkylated in an alkaline, aqueous-organic solution, in which a tertiary alcohol is used as solvent.
