Abstract

Abstract Theelement (1A) fortheultrasonicatomizationofliquidis formed around a periphery with steps having edges (A, B, C, D, E) over which a film of liquid flows to be atomized at each edge. To improve the supply of the liquid to the edges (A, B, C, D, E) the edged portion (2A) is provided with liquid supply grooves (20) intersecting the steps.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 2
Claim 1
Independent Claim 67 words
An ultrasonic atomizing vibratory element having a stepped edged portion formed around a periphery of the element, said edged portion having one or more steps each defining an edge to be supplied with liquid to be pulverized, characterized in that said vibratory element is provided with liquid supply groove means extending substantially axially to supply the liquid to said edged portion in a consistent and stable manner.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 67 words
An ultrasonic atomizing vibratory element having a stepped edged portion formed around a periphery of the element, said edged portion having one or more steps each defining an edge to be supplied with liquid to be pulverized, characterized in that said vibratory element is provided with liquid supply groove means extending substantially axially to supply the liquid to said edged portion in a consistent and stable manner.
