Abstract

Abstract 57 In an optical disc player, a movable chassis (2a), to which an optical pickup (6) and a turntable (3a) are fixed, is supported at a plurality of portions thereof on a frame (1) by coiled springs. This optical disc player is provided with dampers (11) between the frame (1) and movable chassis (2a) so as to absorb the vibration of the movable chassis (2a), and a correcting energizing means (17), which consists of a coild spring or the like, and which is capable of varying by a regulating operation the force for energizing the movable chassis (2a) against the frame (1). Owing to this arrangement, a rising part of a Q-value in a resonance region becomes small, and the vibration resistance of the disc player is improved, so that the sound skipping rarely occurs. It also becomes possible to effectively prevent the deterioration of the vibrations-preventing characteristics of the dampers (11), and the collision of the frame (1) and movable chassis (2a) without widening the range of movement of the chassis (2a).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 11
Claim 1
Independent Claim 179 words
An optical disk player in which a movable chassis (2a) mounted with an optical pickup (6), a turntable (3a) and the like is supported by coiled springs (10) joined with respective positions in a frame (1) so as to hold the movable chassis (2a) in a floating state with respect to the player, comprising dampers (11) inserted between said frame (1) and said movable chassis (2a) so as to absorb the energy of vibrations of said movable chassis (2a), and correcting means (17) inserted between said frame (1) and said movable chassis (2a) so as to be able to change a biasing force for biasing said movable chassis (2a) with respect to said frame (1) by adjustment operation, wherein a positional deviation of said movable chassis (2a) due to the setting angle of said frame (1) from the neutral equilibrium position with respect to said frame (1) is corrected by changing the biasing force by adjustment operation, so that said movable chassis (2a) is kept in said neutral equilibrium position regardless of the setting angle of said frame (1).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 179 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 26 words
The optical disk player according to claim 1, characterized in that said movable chassis (2a) is suspended from said frame (1) by said coiled springs (10).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 65 words
The optical disk player according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said frame (1) comprises a pair of side plates (7) and a connecting member (8) by which said pair of side plates (7) are connected with each other, said connecting member (8) being provided with adjusting means (18) capable of changing the biasing force of said correcting means (17) by adjustment operation.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 24 words
The optical disk player according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said correcting means is a coiled spring (17).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 24 words
The optical disk player according to any one of clams 1 to 4, characterized in that said adjusting means is an eccentric cam (18).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 24 words
The optical disk player according to any one of clams 1 to 4, characterized in that said adjusting means is an eccentric cam (18).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 47 words
The optical disk player according to any one of cairns 1 to 5, characterized in that said frame (1) is accommodated in a cabinet (30), in the upper wall of which an opening (33) for adjustment operation is formed in order to operate said adjusting means (18).
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 47 words
The optical disk player according to any one of cairns 1 to 5, characterized in that said frame (1) is accommodated in a cabinet (30), in the upper wall of which an opening (33) for adjustment operation is formed in order to operate said adjusting means (18).
