Das Ventil ist am lungenseitigen Ende (42) der Beatmungsluftleitung (34) angeordnet und dient zugleich als Ejektordüse für die Abführung von verbrauchter Luft durch den Tubus, wenn dieser als Auslaßleitung dient.
