Abstract

Abstract Each window regulator has associated therewith at least one relay (5 - 8) connected between the electrical system of the motor vehicle and the motor (M 1 , M 2 ) of the window regulator in order to control the supply of working energy to the motor. Remote control units (U 1 , U 2 ) are provided comprising switches (1-4, 11-14) which are each connectible through low power conductors (D 1 , D 2 , D 3 ), to the energisation circuit of one of the relays (5-8).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 119 words
Device for controlling window regulators with electric motors in a motor vehicle, characterised in that each window regulator has associated therewith at least one relay (5- 8) connected between the electrical system (P, N) of the motor vehicle and the motor (M 1 ,M 2 ) of the window regulator in order to control the supply of working energy to the motor (M 1 , M 2 ) and in that control units (U l , U 2 ) are provided comprising switches (1 - 4, 11 - 14) which are each connectible through low power conductors (D 1 , D 2 , D 3 )) to the energisation circuit (5a,6a,7a,8a) of one of the relays (5 - 8).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 119 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 94 words
Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the motor (M 1 ,M 2 ) of each window regulator has associated therewith a pair (5,6; 7,8) of relays for activating the motor (M l ,M 2 ) in the directions of raising and lowering of the window respectively, and in that the connection arrangement of these relays (5 - 8) is such that the simultaneous operation of the control switches associated with both the relays of each pair (5,6; 7,8) causes the interruption of the supply to the motor (M 1 ,M 2 ).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 90 words
Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that each of the supply terminals of the motors (M 1 ,M 2 ) is connected selectively through a respective relay (5, 6; 7,8) to both the poles (P, N) of the electrical system of the vehicle, and in that, in the condition of common de-energisation and the condition of common energisation of both the relays of each pair (5,6;7,8), the supply terminals of the corresponding motor (M 1 ,M 2 ) are connected to a single pole (P,N) of the electrical system.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 55 words
Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each relay (5 - 8) has associated therewith at least one pair of operating switches (1 - 4; 11 - 14) disposed electrically in parallel with each other, each of which is mounted in a respective operating unit (U 1 ,U 2 ).
