Method and apparatus for obtaining a gas flow containing a gaseous compound, especially for use in an epitaxy reactor
Abstract
The subject of the invention is a method and a device for obtaining a gas stream containing a compound in the vapor state, usable in particular for introducing this compound into an epitaxy reactor in the vapor phase. This method consists in introducing the compound into the first compartment (21a) of an enclosure (21) separated into first and second compartments by a porous partition (23), to bring the first compartment of the enclosure to a determined temperature. so as to evaporate the compound, to circulate in the second compartment (21b) a carrier gas capable of entraining the evaporated compound, and to extract from the second compartment the carrier gas containing the evaporated compound which has diffused in the second compartment by passage through the porous partition. By adjusting the temperature, the flow rate of compound diffused through the partition (23) is controlled and by adjusting the flow rate of the carrier gas in the second compartment (21b), the partial pressure of the compound in the current is adjusted to the desired value gas leaving the enclosure via the pipe (31).
