Piezoelectric relay
Abstract
Abstract 1. Piezoelectric relay having at least one piezoceramic transducer element, the deformation of which on the application of a voltage can be converted into the actuation of at least one contact element (4), at least one longitudinal transducer (2, 3) being employed as transducer element, which transducer is mounted at one end (2a, 3a) on a relay housing (1), and the free end (2b, 3b) of which is connected to the contact element (4) via a lever system (7, 8), which element faces at least one counter-contact element (5, 6) with a free end (4a), characterized in that the contact element (4) extends with a long spring leg parallel to the longitudinal transducer (2, 3), and in that at least one transverse leg (7, 8) is connected with the other end (4b) of the contact element (4), which transverse leg is mounted to pivot relative to the relay housing (1) and acts at a predetermined distance from the bearing point at the free end of the longitudinal transducer (2; 3).
