Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 135 words
Immunological assay method in which an antigen or antibody is attached to solid particles, it is allowed to react in a measurement vessel with an antibody or antigen, respectively, present in the sample to be studied and with an antibody or antigen, respectively, marked with a fluorescent substance, thereupon the tracer adhering to the solid particles is excited with an appropriate radiation, and the emitted fluorescence or phosphorescence radiation is measured, characterized in that the antigen or antibody is attached to magnetic particles, for the time of measurement the particles are pulled by means of the magnetic field against the wall of the measurement vessel, and that both the excitation radiation is passed into the magnetic particles and the fluorescence or phosphorescence radiation is collected to the detector through the wall of the measurement vessel.'"
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 135 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 27 words
Method as claimed in claim 1, char- acterized in that the antigen or antibody is attached to polymer particles to which a magnetic substance has been added.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 34 words
Method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, before measurement, a colouring agent is added into the measurement vessel that has a strong absorption at the wavelength of the excitation radiation.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 37 words
Method as claimed in any of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that, before measurement, a colouring agent is added into the measurement vessel that has a strong absorption at the wavelength of the emission radiation.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 16 words
Method as claimed in claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the colouring agent is black.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 41 words
Method as claimed in any of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that both the excitation radiation is passed into the sample and the fluorescence or phosphorescence radiation is collected to the detector through the bottom of the measurement vessel.
