Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 57 words
A lock in an injection molding apparatus for causing a toggle mechism to lock molds, comprising a servo motor and a transmission mechanism having a screw and a nut mechanism for converting a rotational force of said servo motor to a linear force, said toggle mechanism being driven in accordance with an output from said transmission mechanism.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 57 words
A lock in an injection molding apparatus for causing a toggle mechism to lock molds, comprising a servo motor and a transmission mechanism having a screw and a nut mechanism for converting a rotational force of said servo motor to a linear force, said toggle mechanism being driven in accordance with an output from said transmission mechanism.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 38 words
A lock according to claim 1, wherein a very small current is flowed to said servo motor to hold links of said toggle mechanism straight when said links in said toggle mechanism are straightened to lock said molds.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
A lock according to claim 1, wherein said servo motor comprises a servo motor with a brake mechanism.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 20 words
A lock according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein said toggle mechanism comprises a double toggle type toggle mechanism.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 20 words
A lock according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein said toggle mechanism comprises a single toggle type toggle mechanism.
