Input integrated flat panel display system

Claim 2

An input integrated flat panel display system provided with an input integrated flat panel display (5) of an integrated structure, having an input device (3, 13) for inputting through handwriting characters, graphics, or points and a flat panel display (2, 12) laid upon the input device for displaying in accordance with an input point data input through handwriting, and with a processing device for recognizing the characters or graphics from the input point data and providing the resultant displaying point data to the flat panel display, said input integrated flat panel display system comprising: a large screen frame memory (23) for storing a point data for a large screen having a larger display screen than that of said flat panel display; a register (32, 33) for storing a start address indicative of which portion among said point data for the large screen is to be displayed on said flat panel display; control means (6) for transforming beforehand said input point data into the point data for said large screen and transferring to said processing device, basing upon the start address from said register; and display control means (8) for picking up, based upon the start address from said register, a portion of said point data for said large screen of said large screen frame memory corresponding to the display screen of said flat panel and transforming said portion into the point data for said flat panel to display said portion on said flat panel.

Claim 3

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 1, wherein the display screen of said flat panel display and a CRT display screen are made to coincide with each other by using both said input integrated flat panel display and said CRT display and making said large screen correspond with said CRT display screen.

Claim 4

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 1, wherein an electromagnetic coupling type digitizer is used as an input device for said input integrated flat panel display and a liquid crystal as a flat panel display is disposed upon said digitizer.

Claim 5

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 1, wherein a scroll appointment section (25) for appointing said start address is mounted on the input device of said input integrated flat panel display, and whereby the transfer of said input point data to said control means and the picking-up of the point data for said large screen at said display control means are changed by changing the start address for the point data for said large screen, and the picked-up portion is displayed on said flat panel display.

Claim 6

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 4, wherein the start address for the point data for said large screen is changed in accordance with the direction, distance, and speed of a stroke given for changing the start address on said scroll appointment section.

Claim 7

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 1, wherein a panning display section (26) for appointing a panning display is provided on the input device of said input integrated flat panel display, whereby by appointing a panning display the magnification of transformation at said control means of said input point data into said point data for said large screen is changed, and said point data for said large screen is picked up and span-displayed on said flat panel display.

Claim 8

An input integrated flat panel display system provided with an input integrated flat panel display (5) of an integrated structure, having an input device (3, 13) for inputting through handwriting characters, graphics, points and a flat panel display (2, 12) laid upon the imput device for displaying in accordance with an input point data input through handwriting, and with a processing device for recognizing the characters or graphics from the input point data and providing the resultant displaying point data to the flat panel display, said input integrated flat panel display system comprising: a large screen frame memory (23) for storing a point data for a large screen having a larger display screen than that of said flat panel display; a flat panel display frame memory (22) for storing the point data of said flat panel display; a register (32, 33) for storing a start address indicative of which portion among said point data for the large screen is to be displayed on said flat panel display; control means (6) for transforming beforehand said input point data into the point data for said large screen and transferring to said processing device, based upon the start address from said register; and display control means (8) for picking up, based upon the start address from said register, a portion of said point data for said large screen of said large screen frame memory corresponding to the display screen of said flat panel and transforming said portion into the point data for said flat panel to store said portion in said flat panel display frame memory, said display control means reading out said portion from said-flat panel display frame memory in order to display said portion on said flat panel display.

Claim 9

An input integrated flat panel display system provided with an input integrated flat panel display (5) of an integrated structure, having an input device (3, 13) for inputting through handwriting characters, graphics, points and a flat panel display (2, 12) laid upon the imput device for displaying in accordance with an input point data input through handwriting, and with a processing device for recognizing the characters or graphics from the input point data and providing the resultant displaying point data to the flat panel display, said input integrated flat panel display system comprising: a large screen frame memory (23) for storing a point data for a large screen having a larger display screen than that of said flat panel display; a flat panel display frame memory (22) for storing the point data of said flat panel display; a register (32, 33) for storing a start address indicative of which portion among said point data for the large screen is to be displayed on said flat panel display; control means (6) for transforming beforehand said input point data into the point data for said large screen and transferring to said processing device, based upon the start address from said register; and display control means (8) for picking up, based upon the start address from said register, a portion of said point data for said large screen of said large screen frame memory corresponding to the display screen of said flat panel and transforming said portion into the point data for said flat panel to store said portion in said flat panel display frame memory, said display control means reading out said portion from said-flat panel display frame memory in order to display said portion on said flat panel display.

Claim 10

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 7, wherein the display screen of said flat panel display and a CRT display screen are made to coincide with each other by using both said input integrated flat panel display and said CRT display and making said large screen correspond with said CRT display screen.

Claim 11

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 8, wherein a CRT input data input section is provided, said input section being capable of directly appointing the CRT display screen on the input device of said input integrated flat panel display.

Claim 12

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 7, wherein a scroll appointment section (25) for changing said start address is mounted on the input device of said input integrated flat panel display, and whereby the transfer of said input point data to said control means and the picking-up of the point data for said large screen at said display control means are changed by changing the start address for the point data for said large screen, and the picked - up portion is displayed on said flat panel display.

Claim 13

An input integrated flat panel display system according to claim 7, wherein a color appointment section for selecting a color component to be displayed is provided on the input device of said input integrated flat panel display, whereby by appointing color information of the input data of said large screen, the color appointed on said flat panel display is picked up and displayed.
