Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von teilweise bekannten 5-Amino-1-phenyl-pyrazolen der allgemeinen Formel <IMAGE> (worin R¹-R<8> die in der Beschreibung angegebenen Bedeutungen haben) als Herbizide, ferner die 5-Amino-1-phenyl-pyrazole als solche, soweit diese neu sind, sowie bestimmte, zu deren Herstellung verwendbare neue Zwischenprodukte (Phenylhydrazin-Derivate der Formel IV). The invention relates to the use of partially known 5-amino-1-phenyl-pyrazoles of the general formula <IMAGE> (in which R¹-R <8> have the meanings given in the description) as herbicides, furthermore the 5-amino-1- phenyl-pyrazoles as such, insofar as these are new, and certain new intermediates which can be used for their preparation (phenylhydrazine derivatives of the formula IV).
