Abstract Translated from German 2'-Phenylhydrazino-2-cyanacrylsäureester der Formel <IMAGE> in der R¹ Methyl, Trifluormethyl, Chlor oder Brom, R² Chlor, Brom, Jod, Methylsulfonyl, R³ Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Brom bedeutet oder Methoxi in 5-Stellung bedeutet, wobei dann R¹ und R² Chlor bedeuten und R² Wasserstoff bedeutet, wenn R³ Chlor in 3-Stellung bedeutet und R<4> Alkyl mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, Allyl oder Propargyl bedeutet, und diese enthaltende Herbizide. 2'-Phenylhydrazino-2-cyanoacrylic acid ester of the formula <IMAGE> in which R¹ is methyl, trifluoromethyl, chlorine or bromine, R² is chlorine, bromine, iodine, methylsulfonyl, R³ is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine or is methoxy in the 5-position, in which case R¹ and R² are chlorine and R² is hydrogen if R³ is chlorine in the 3-position and R <4> is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, allyl or propargyl, and herbicides containing them.
